The Opportunity
As we scale globally, we’re looking for a Director of Operations to own the end-to-end operational delivery of Stablecon worldwide, with an immediate focus on the 2026 US edition. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is hands-on with logistics, and can build operational systems from the ground up. You will work directly with the COO to execute at the highest level while helping to shape the future of Stablecon’s operational strategy.
What You’ll Do
Event Operations
- Own the full operational delivery of all Stablecon events globally, starting with the US flagship edition.
- Work with the COO to ensure seamless execution and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Lead venue sourcing, vendor negotiation, AV, catering, security, and guest services.
- Develop detailed project timelines, run-of-show docs, and critical path trackers to hit milestones.
- Oversee on-site logistics including staff coordination, registration, signage, and exhibitor management.
Sponsor & Partner Fulfillment
- Develop and manage budgets with a focus on cost-effectiveness and profit targets.
- Manage contracts and timelines across vendors in multiple time zones.
Budgeting & Vendor Management
- Develop and manage budgets, track expenses, and oversee vendor negotiations to ensure cost-effectiveness and profit targets are met.
- Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple vendors in different time zones.
Cross-functional Coordination
- Work closely with content, marketing, sales, and finance teams to align on timelines, programming needs, and brand standards.
- Lead pre-event meetings and post-event recaps to ensure team-wide alignment and continuous improvement.
Process Building
- Design scalable operational processes to support Stablecon’s international growth.
- Implement systems for sponsor fulfillment, inventory management, and on-site execution.

- Sponsor Satisfaction: Partners see flawless delivery of commitments and return year-over-year.
- Budget Management: Deliver events within target margins while maximizing impact.
- Process Creation: Build repeatable systems that scale as we expand internationally.
You’ll Succeed If You…
- Have 3–6 years of experience in large-scale event or conference operations (B2B experience preferred).
- Proven ability to manage complex, large-scale events end-to-end.
- Experience negotiating and managing vendors, with strong budget discipline.
- Hands-on, resourceful approach; comfortable building systems in a startup environment.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills and ability to align multiple stakeholders.
- Calm under pressure with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Are fluent in English (Spanish proficiency is a major plus).
- Willingness to travel periodically for event execution
