Oversee finance systems including implementing our next ERP, optimizing our current finance systems, and improving the efficiency and scalability of all finance workflows. Serve as the primary administrator of finance and treasury systems. Implement Oracle Fusion Cloud, ensuring scalable financial processes while administering and optimizing the current ERP. Work with our IT function to develop and monitor financial system-related internal controls, processes, and policies. Review existing finance system solutions and perform gap analysis against desired functionality, reviewing and enhancing financial processes and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy. Lead and manage all ongoing system maintenance activities to support day-to-day accounting activities and serve as primary administrator for finance systems. Manage and participate in business support for enhancements, issues, and data/configuration updates within the current ERP platform. Determine and update finance system optimization strategies based on existing and emerging technologies, products, and platforms. Collaborate cross-functionally to assess and communicate the impact of company-wide initiatives to finance systems and related processes. Own all aspects of our financial systems including data integrity, new feature recommendations, financial reporting, user security, controls, troubleshooting, and third-party integrations. Work with finance partners, Change Management, and other cross functional teams to determine process inefficiencies leading them through discovery, design, implementation, and execution process. Build and develop a high-functioning team to execute on the long-term roadmap for Finance Systems.
Telecommuting permitted up to 50% per week within same geographic location as assigned office location.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field plus (10) ten years (5 of which must be progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience working with finance systems. OR Must have a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field plus (8) eight years of experience working with finance systems.
Skills Requirements:
Must have 6 years of experience in all of the following (which may be gained concurrently):
- Implementing, architecting, designing, supporting, and optimizing Oracle Fusion Cloud, AP/AR automation solutions, and financial planning systems;
- Managing projects with cross functional teams and diverse stakeholders;
- Working with financial and related system controls; and
- Operating in a publicly traded company or highly regulated environment.
Must have 6 years of experience in all of the following technologies (which may be gained concurrently):
- Finance OTC systems
- Financial planning and analysis tools
- Payroll systems, including ADP WFN
Must have 5 years of experience in finance processes, including:
- Boundary financial systems;
- Order to Cash;
- Procure to Pay;
- Record to Report;
- Revenue Recognition and Consolidation; and
- Working with US GAAP.
