Manage multiple projects/programs across Ripple’s liquidity and trading platform. Gather business and systems requirements from both internal and external stakeholders to ensure platform scalability supports all Ripple’s business. Work with product and engineering teams to define clear specifications, manage product schedules, remove roadblocks, and ensure high development velocity. Engage with external liquidity venues and market service providers to gather requirements and manage technical execution. Responsible for end-to-end planning and implementation of projects and support of Agile teams. Partner with Product and Engineering teams to develop program milestones, track progress, and provide transparency to various stakeholders. Work with Product Managers and Technical Leads on design decisions, and drive solutions to technical problems. Ensure and guide alignment and accountability across all functions involved in the project. Build relationships across teams and anticipate, identify and manage dependencies, risks, and issues across teams. Lead team and foster collaboration. Track metrics to effectively measure progress against goals. Operate as a subject matter expert for the team on topics related to planning, process, execution, reporting, stakeholder management, and goals attainment. Implement improvements to the product development and delivery process.

Telecommuting permitted 50% or more but less than 100% per week within same geographic location as assigned office location.

Up to 5% domestic travel is required.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related field, plus 5 years of relevant program management and/or software engineering experience. OR must have Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or other related field, plus seven (7) years of relevant program management and/or software engineering experience (of which 5 years of which must be progressive, post-baccalaureate).

Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience in all of the following(which may be gained concurrently):

  • Experience launching products into production and maintaining live applications;
  • Experience with financial markets.

Of the required experience, must have 3 years of experience in two of the following; JIRA, Smartsheet, and Confluence.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in all of the following technologies (which may be gained concurrently):

  • REST, gRPC or other network API specs;
  • Cloud software development (AWS, Google Cloud, and/or Azure);
  • Data, including databases, data warehouses, and data reports;
  • Event driven microservice architectures.

Must have 1 year of experience with automated trading systems.

For positions that will be based in NY, the annual salary range for this position is below. Actual salaries may vary based on numerous factors including, among other things, an individual applicant’s experience and qualifications for the position. This range does not include equity or additional compensation, such as bonuses or commissions.
